Heh :P

Yeah why is it in country? Anyways this sound like a great start! I can't wait to here the whole thing. You are an absolute maser at packing TONS of energy into your intros and then continuing to maintain that energy throughout the entirety of the peice. Excellent work!

Second review how cool :P

F-777 responds:

Thanks so much man! And ya i put in wrong genre by accident.

Thanks again!

Bravo!

Very nice! The whole thing is quite professional! The peice is pumped ful of energy, it makes me think of the end of an epic movie; enemy vanquished, sunrise in the sky, the girl cries, the hero holds his sword high, etc.

I have to ask, what program do you use?

PGegen responds:

Thanks, man! I use EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Silver for the orchestral sounds.

Good Job!

Wow, I really like what you've done here, it sounds VERY professional. I like how you keep alternating between the original and the heavy metal. One thing about this feature, though, is that it is a little bit too sudden. It doesn't come as a plaesent surprise, it kind of makes the listener all edgy and nervous. Easing in and out of these transitions a little more would very much help this.

I thoroughly liked the little sub-theme you introduce at 0:54. it showed that, while this wa a remix and was sticking to the original alot, it was still your song and your remix and you could do whatever you wanted to it.

So, do you use a program to create this, or are you like recording playing the guitar, etc.? Either way, it is very, very professional sounding :)

Keep up the good work! - Cobra151

P.S. - You the MeastroRage do know this is the Tetris Theme Song right? Just double checking since neither of your Authors comments, on either of the peices mentioned it :P

PGegen responds:

I'm glad you liked the song, and thanks for the feedback on the transitions.

I did all of the song in Cubase, and recorded the guitar parts through a PODxt.

LadyArsenic did mention in one of her review responses that the original song was based on the Tetris theme.

...wow...

your melody....just...WOW! :P

this is fantastic! your chord progression fits your melody to a T! the amount of energy you're able to get out of this little simple progression/melody combo is stunning. Your drums are fanastic, they ad so much to the song, particularily the DJ turntables!

The git R done atitude of the song is inspiring. Your combining of rock and techno is unequaled.

I am SO telling allmy frinds about this! keep up the fantastic music - Cobra151

PGegen responds:

I'm glad you liked the track! Thanks for the review - I appreciate the feedback.

.....wow....

...dude... you just totally made my day.
I have to say that this is probably my second favorite thing you've ever wrote (Episode2 being #1) . Your instrumentation/orchestration is phenominal, your melody is so powerful, capturing the essence of life to the fullest! The beauty of this peice really lies in the chord progression though. The Eb, Bb, F, G, Eb, Bb, F,F chord progression is one of the most redeeming, hopefull, "the-story-goes-on" progressions ever. Your peice here does it full justice.

Only constructive criticizm I have is

1) Bring in a saw wave synth in unison with the melody at 0:55 (like you did in episode 2 at 1:02, and in episode 3 at 2:19)

2) this song just BEGS to go polyphonic at 1:08. you have a square wave synth glisando up the scale starting at 1:05, have that break off into another melody (maybe heavily arppegiated?)

Just some suggestions, this song is fantastic, one of your best! Praise be to God for the beauty of music :) - Cobra151

F-777 responds:

Thanks man!!! This review really made my day =).
I did have a saw but some people on msn told me to
take it out cause it ruined the mood of the song =(.
(i do get what you mean though)

Thanks so much man!!!

great job!

WOW... To be totally honest I was excpecting stuff along the lines of your other peices which, while being very well done, are not really done in my favorite styles.

but MAN, this rocks dude, some of the best stuff I've heard on NG. Your arpegiation at the beginning is great really gives the song energy. Your build is great, but the thing that stood out to me the most was the fanastic variety. some of your other stuff is really repititious, but this changes all the time and keeps me on my toes! Absolutley love the total variety, it feels like you never repeat anything anywhere. I love the puase at 2:02 add's fantastic dramatic effect!

Again, Fantasticly done, keep up the fantastic work - Cobra151

Michael425 responds:

haha score. I beat your expectations.

I love doin arpegiations to lay down the notes for the coming tune. Always good for intros.

I definitely worked very hard to fit a lot of variety into this song, im glad you noticed.

Haha, you can always expect some pauses/ dramatic elements in my songs. always.

I'll keep the songs coming. Thanks for the great review man.

cool

Hey, good to hear some of your work again! (And I get first review Woot Woot!)

Anyways I like this, you have a lot of good stuff in here, i like the build up at the beginning. It felt to me though, that the song never really gets going or gets the energy that songs like "Anxiety Cure" do. It kind of just kept me waiting for it really to start, but it never did. It might help if they melody that start at 1:27 was a Saw wave, multizone synth insteaed of electric guitar, The guitar thing just didn't seem to fit.

So while not as fantastic as your other stuff, still a great song and Good to hear from you again :) -Cobra151

RenoakRhythm responds:

cool... ya thanks a bunch for the review. And you're spot on... it feel like half a song. In fact i'll be working on this a bunch more and make it a full song. Its just i've been so busy with bigger projects that i haven't posted anything here on NG. I'll see what i can sneak out to NG though :)

Thanks agian for the review :)

well done

hey dude, this is great! a little repititious but great. You are very good at orhcestrating your songs and getting the harmonies to flow with the melody. I looove the melody/chord progression combo.

I have been listening to you song "Move to Senses" for a few months now and decided I should check out your other stuff as well. Glad I did :-) Keep up the good work, I'll keep listening - Cobra151

Manhart responds:

Hi Cobra, thanks for the review!
I am very glad you liked it in spite of the repititousness :)

great stuff

And Yet another great song, I mean seriously, go pro dude!

I love the eletric guitar in this, all of it is fantastic. The sound you use for the melody is great, fits the song perfectly. I love the boldness of the melody, it (as always with your stuff) fits the chord progression perfectly. I do feel a little bit lacking in this song though, that there were a few things you could have changed at certain points and made the song absolutely killer. But since they would be rather hard to explain via Review (since I have no idea how good your music theory is and would most likely start using jargon that would be greek to you) I'll just leave it at "fantastic job my freind!!" - Cobra151

F-777 responds:

Music theory? =).
Iv been playing piano 8 years
and i teach piano now =).
So feel free to start using music
theory in your reviews ;).

Thanks so much for the review!!!

wow

when you came out with #3 I thought "well that was a cool series, can't wait to see what he does next." I had no idea you planned on making four more! I got on this morning and checked the top five. I clicked the top one but right before the page loaded my eye caught your song at the bottom of the list and I was like "NO WAY!!!". I couldn't believe I missed the release of episode four.

Anyways I really like this one, you got great stuff in here1 I love it whe the multizone takes takes over the melody around 1:19, great thematic element. you melody (as always) fits the chord progression very well. I still have yet to here a song that has the epic vastness and power of episode 2, but this song comes very close...very close. Cant wait to hear #6 and #7 ! hurrying over to review episode 4 now :P- Cobra151

F-777 responds:

Haha thanks so much Cobra!!!
Im going to make Ep.6 and Ep.7
the best in the series hopefully =).

THANKS AGAIN!!!
