Cool

Hey dude!

Sorry its taken me soo long to get back to you on this, been really busy of late. anyways I liked the song alot, I can tell you put aot of effort into it. Though I've never played the game (not much of a Nintendo guy) I can easily see this in a racing game. Only problem I heard was it was a tad repititious and the melody wasn't very obviuos. other than that it was great, keep up the good work :) - Cobra151

You should try and play one of the Extreme-G racing games. They're pretty awesome.

I tried to put as many melodies in this one as possible because the original track was even more repetitive. (surprisingly).

But I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the review bro.

this is great

you know, I downloaded this because I skipped to the middle of the song and heard something interesting. BOY am I glad I did, this was stuck in my head for like three days straight. so I decided I had to come back and review it :P

I love your melody here, such creativity and catchyness, I really like it. I love right at 2:00 where you bring in the second drum loop, that is something I do in a lot of my music, glad to see others doing it to. Also (Another thing I do alot) at 2:55 you muted everything except the drums and the melody! I do that all the time, great orchestration technique! my only suggestion here is that starting fom 2:55 you should rebuild the song back up to where it was around 2:36.

Listen to my song

and you'll see that I do alot of those things to. the only constructive criticism have is that your bass line is almost non existant. I really couldn't here it and at first I wasn't even sure what the chord porgression was. other then that i loved it, Keep up the good work! - Cobra151

P.S. - Check out my music :P

RenoakRhythm responds:

I love this song, another great job! Your vocals are fantasatic, whoever that is has a great voice. your orchestration is great as well, keep up the great work. - Cobra151

RenoakRhythm responds:

ya the vocals are from the original song.... Solid Inc - What I found.

Thanks for liking the song :)

And thanks for the review

cool

Not bad, not bad at all! It would make good menu music for a puzzle game or something.

BIGraw responds:

Thx!

Your stuff is so unique, this is a very original peice!

I like the effects you have in here, great stuff! keep up the good work! - Cobra151

Michael425 responds:

I will keep em coming.

fanastically done! I love it! plaese keep up the good work.

P.S. - yo didn't have any sound for the "Bing Bing" part :P

EvilRaccoon responds:

Haha, yeah. I didnt put the bingbing in because it's a remix of the original Axel F, not the the remix of the crazy frog Axel F. ;)

Thanks so much for the comments!

RPG?!?

THE ROCKET PROPELLED GRENADE JOURNEY?!?

anyways the peice isn't bad, you've got alot of good stuff going here, its a good march! though I have to say the beginning made me want to listen to something else once it got the the middle it was fairly good, keep it up (and spice up the intro:) -Cobra151

Quackman responds:

Thanks for the review! I called it RPG Journey not only because of www.mythicalacademy.tk but also because it feels like a song watching over the top of someone playing a game.... blaahh I'll just write a little story in the Author comments :D ty

*edit*
RPG stands for Role playing game, and MMORPG is Massivly Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game

amazingly emotional

I love this, the beginning is fantastic! the combo of the choir, vocals, and techno really constitutes a very serious, somber air. though I have to say I completely didn't see the change at 1:17 coming, but it was a neat change. not what I would have done there, but HEY! it's your peice. If everyone wrote music like me, I'd get bored :P I love the whole thing dude, keep it up.

NemesisTheory responds:

haha I doubt many people saw that change coming :) I kind of like doing unexpected stuff like that!

and haha, yeah, that's the cool thing about composing... everyone does things differently :)

Thanks for the review!

I like it

very nice, you've got a lot of good stuff in here. You build very well at the beginning and like Music-story said, it sounds very professional. Now while I agree with Music-Story on the Professionalness of the peice I totally disagree with him on the 1:50 drums. They accentuate the peice so much. Too much dance music if not practially all uses the BUM BUM BUM drumline which, while it is good for dancing to, is extremely boring. these drums do give it a sort of march/celtic feel to it. there is so much more you can do with this peice becuase of it. the more I listen to it the more I like it. very nice job again. keep it up (no negative criticism of this one, I like it alot) :) - Cobra151

DukeLukeProd responds:

It's nice to hear that some people enjoy my deviations from the usual (like the drums at 1:50). Thanks for the great review dude :)

very nice

love it, the beginning is a little too long though. you completely lost me. a was going to go and find something else to listen to until I read the other reviews and thought "i guess I'll listen till the "epic" part". I am glad I did, but you will probably lose alot of people with an intro that boring. Try and spice it up a little, and yes I agree it sounds very LOTR-ish. nice name choice, I can see what your talking about. Keep it up - Cobra151

DukeLukeProd responds:

Yeah, I guess I'd feel the same way about the intro, there really isn't too much going on. On the other hand it was kind of intentional, you know, to surprise the listener at about 40 seconds.
Thanks for your thoughts!
